TRUSTED LANDSCAPING COMPANY IN GREENFIELD, MN

Gearin Outdoor Services

LEADERS IN LANDSCAPING IN GREENFIELD

LET US DO YOUR DIRTY WORK

Greenfield sits along the Crow River in northwestern Hennepin County, about 26 miles from Minneapolis. Properties here run larger than the typical suburban lot, with open pasture, mature tree lines, and long driveways that need equipment built for scale, not just a small mower and a trimmer. Gearin Outdoor Services already works the surrounding communities of Corcoran, Hanover, Loretto, St. Michael, Albertville, and Rogers, so extending our crews into Greenfield means the same responsive, professional landscaping and lawn care your neighbors already rely on.

Landscaping Services We Offer in Greenfield

Landscaping and Hardscaping

From paver patios to mulch beds and sod installs, we design outdoor spaces built for wide open lots.

Lawn Care and Property Maintenance

Regular mowing, fertilizing, and seasonal clean up keep large Greenfield properties looking sharp all year.

Excavation and Site Work

Grading, drainage, and driveway work handled by crews who understand rural soil and terrain.

Retaining Walls and Land Clearing

We clear overgrown acreage and build retaining walls that hold up against Minnesota winters.

What Makes Landscaping in Greenfield Different

Large Lot Acreage

Many Greenfield properties sit on an acre or more, so mowing routes, irrigation planning, and hardscape layouts all need to scale differently than a standard city lot.

Crow River Proximity and Drainage

Properties near the Crow River corridor often deal with wetter soil and drainage patterns that affect grading and planting decisions. We plan accordingly rather than applying a generic city approach.

Rural Zoning and Permitting

Grading, retaining walls, and larger hardscape projects in Greenfield may require sign off from the city’s Building and Zoning office.

Seasonal Access for Larger Properties

Longer driveways and bigger yards mean snow removal and spring clean up take more equipment and more time than a typical suburban service call. We plan crew size around property size.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tyler and his team completed two pads for us, one for a hot tub and one for a shed, and we couldn’t be happier. The communication was excellent and the price was very competitive. Excellent experience and they will be my first call should I need those services again. Thanks so much Tyler!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We hired Gearin for essentially 3 projects bundled together. First was taking down a large old tree that was rotting through the trunk, second to clear that area after and build a play area and install a playground, and finally adding a concrete base to support our mini split that was on uneven mulch and being propped up with pavers. They were able to do all three things together and for a very reasonable price. I would say the price was on par with expectations, if not slightly more competitive than previous quotes I'd received. The team showed up on time as scheduled and were kind and respectful. They were very self sufficient, but also checked in with us on decisions to confirm that required it. They always remembered to lock the gate when they were done that day for our dog (appreciated, especially since it doesn't close well!) They also did a great job cleaning up any leftover debris after the project was done. Most importantly, they did a great job! I'll admit we were initially a little vague and unsure of how exactly we wanted it, but they helped us build that vision more and find what worked with our budget. They absolutely nailed it. I anticipate using them again for future landscaping projects.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Outstanding experience from start to finish. I can’t recommend Gearin Outdoor Services enough. From my very first inquiry, they responded quickly and communicated clearly every step of the way. They came out to the house to do an estimate in person, walked through every detail of the project with full transparency — including cost — so there were zero surprises along the way. What really stood out was that they delivered exactly on what they promised: the work was completed within the exact timeline they stated, and the price was more than reasonable for the quality of work. It’s rare to find a company that’s this reliable and straightforward. If you’re looking for a team that communicates well, shows up when they say they will, and does what they say they’re going to do — look no further. We will absolutely be using Gearin Outdoor Services again for future projects. Highly, highly recommend!

Yes. Greenfield falls within our West Metro service area alongside Corcoran, Hanover, Loretto, St. Michael, Albertville, and Rogers, and we take on landscaping, lawn care, and excavation projects throughout the city.

Do you offer lawn care for large or acreage properties in Greenfield?

Yes. Many of the yards we maintain in the Greenfield area run well past a standard city lot, and our crews bring the mowers, trimmers, and scheduling built for that scale.
